Room Item Check
When both rooms and Items have been specified in requirements, the correlation between these requirements can be checked by defining a set of rules using the Room Items Check feature. When an Item is added to a room, and constructional requirements govern this, the rules set up can check whether the room data requirements for this room meet these construction requirements.
For example, consider resources supplying equipment in a room. Three computers are planned for an office room, all requiring a power supply. If only two power supplies have been planned for the room, then there is a probable error. If 30 power supplies are set up in the room, and no other item requires power, this is also a probable error.
This is an example of a resource in the room you want to include, but other rules are also possible; for example, certain types of items may require a minimum/maximum temperature in the room to function properly or require noise insulation as they generate a lot of noise.
The set-up of rules can be complex and is normally carried out by the project administrator.
