dRofus Panel Family Instances Introduction

Within the dRofus Ribbon, select the "Show panel" button to activate the dRofus Panel:

A movable / dock-able dRofus Panel will then appear as follows:

Select a Revit Family Instance (the Family Type of which has already been linked to a corresponding dRofus Item Type + the Instance of which has already been linked to a corresponding dRofus Item Occurrence), and the dRofus Panel will then display all the dRofus Item Occurrence's Instance attributes as follows:

Depending on the active / default Occurrence <-> Revit Instance Configuration, you will note that there may appear arrows next to some of the Instance attributes.

In this example, a Configuration called "Revit Family Instances - Update" has been applicable. If you click on this Configuration, and then (within the Attribute Configuration Settings dialog, click on "Edit" against the Occurrence <-> Revit Instance Configuration called "Revit Family Instances - Update", you will note (within the Instance/Occurrence Data Attribute Configuration Editor dialog) that:

• dRofus' Item Occurrence attribute (1) has been mapped such that it's values are to get pushed in to a Revit's Family Instance parameter, hence the arrow within the dRofus Panel is orange in colour and points to the right

• dRofus' Item Occurrence attribute (1) has been mapped such that it's values are to get pulled from a Revit's Family Instance parameter, hence the arrow within the dRofus Panel is blue in colour and points to the left
