Group Area Overview

Similarly as for function areas, different groups can be overviewed of a given type. Color can be set for each group in the properties pane

Classification

Groups are normally exported as a zone object in the IFC model (IFCZone). However, groups can be specified to be exported as a classification object (IFCClassificationReference) by setting the classification type of the group type and a reference for each of the groups. This can be useful, for example, for exporting to Solibri or to other software that can read IFCClassification.
