To update a product simply select the product and make the change, alternatively an excel file can be used to make changes to a product already in dRofus. If a product does not already exist in dRofus the alternative method for creating a product is using an excel file as well.
Import and update:
Read about preparing excel file: Create Excel-file for import and update . Excel-file should include either Item Number, Item name or BIM ID and any other fields you want to include in the product. Only use Product ID if you are updating a product.
Open the Item module
Select Import/Export tab
Select Import/update products and a window will appear:

Import, update or both
Select to either Import New, Update Existing or Import New and Update Existing.
Product as Default
Next select if you want to Set Product as Default. This will make it the default product on items during the import/update product process.
Checking the box will then give you the options to apply the default product to already existing Occurrences.
Identifier
Determine which unique key will be used to identify the item the product is linked to. *Note: Products do not exist without an Item.
Supplier and Manufacturer are used to identify the company that the Product is associated to. For more information on companies click here.
Product data
Lastly, if the Products that are being imported contain Product Data, map the Excel columns to the product data fields. Then select Import.
