With IFC support in dRofus, you can exchange information about the room between dRofus and BIM authering tools or other software that supports IFC. This is done primarily by three procedures:

  • Connecting the room in the room program (dRofus) to the model (IFC)

  • Synchronizing with the model

  • Importing rooms from IFC

The first point means that you either create an empty model or synchronize data, or that there is a CAD/DAK model exported to IFC that you can connect to.

When you synchronize with a model, all dRofus information is updated in the model and information about the model will also be able to update the room program with projected data (see Create New, Edit or delete IFC Attribute Configuration ).

If the IFC Fails to connect check the Connection Between Rooms in the Model and Room Program
