To import or update Contacts for companies, select the the Company Module on the left side and select the Import/Export tab at the top and Import/ Update Contacts. A prepared Excel Spreadsheet with the relevant data is required in order to import or update a company. 

Review Exporting data to MS-Excel and MS-Word to better understand how to prepare an excel file from dRofus that could be used in this process.

Choose file and browse to the excel file using the Choose File icon in the Import/Update menu.. The file should include Contact persons name, and any other fields in order to update existing Contacts data.  This is the key to link the excel file data to the exiting data in dRofus. dRofus will read the excel file and ask if the columns can be read to pre-populate the fields, pick yes to match the excel columns with the fields in the user interface. At this step, an import option will need to be determined. Import New, Update existing, or Import new and update existing. If Importing New, the Excel file must have a column identifying the Contact person ID. 

Then, determine which unique key will be used to identify the Company if necessary. A Company is required to import or update Contacts data. 

Once all of the columns have been mapped select import.
