IFC Items

Information about the items between dRofus and software that supports IFC can be exchanged with the IFC support in dRofus. This is done primarily by three steps:

1. We are connecting the item in dRofus to the IFC model.

2. We are synchronizing with the model.

3. We are matching object types from the IFC.

The first step requires either creating an empty model and synchronizing data or exporting a design authoring model to IFC that can be used to connect. 

When synchronizing with a model, all dRofus information is updated in the model. (see https://drofus.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DV/pages/2324365337 ).
