Systems Tips and Important Principles

A few tips to effectively use Systems and Classifications in dRofus:

• Classification can be assigned to the Item groups (so you don't have to do it individually for each item)

• Create separate equipment lists for technical components synchronized from the model (Revit)

• Recommended: responsibility follow the item rather than person

• A Family Type can only be assigned one Classification

• Make sure that correct Systems are connected to System Components before import to dRofus (for Revit users)

• Do the classification effort in dRofus and let dRofus synchronize the codes to the model

• Familiarize yourself with the configurations in Revit. Make sure you sync data to correct entities between dRofus and Revit.
