Model Name

To enable this feature you will need to set up an Attribute Configuration which will record the active Model name into dRofus. When this "special" parameter is used in the configuration, the Plug-In will enable some features which will ensure that the information is kept coordinated and up to date.

To set up, go into the Attribute Configuration editor and link the parameter called "Model Information > Model name (dRofus)" to be written to (ideally) a Room Group named "Revit Model > Name"within dRofus. You can choose any writable attribute within dRofus, but it is recommended to use a Room Group so that you can easily view and manage your Rooms by Groups within the dRofus Client:

Once this has been configured, you can set this up as the only Room Attribute Configuration available for users to select from. This will ensure that all Users write to this particular attribute. This will also ensure that each Room is only located once in each respective model.

When first used you will be asked to provide a name for your model, or you can do this in advance by going into "Options" and entering a value within "Document options > Model name":

Within Revit, this information is stored as a shared parameter under the grouping "Project Information".

You will need to ensure that each model is assigned a unique name, and (if using Room Groups), that this name matches exactly one of the predefined Room Group values within dRofus. In this example, "Model A" is used:

Linking rooms

When linking Revit Rooms to dRofus Rooms (which are already assigned with the Model name within dRofus), you can use the dRofus Room filter to narrow down the list of available Rooms pertaining to the model. For example:

Synchronizing rooms

Likewise, when synchronising (already linked) Rooms, the same dRofus Room filter could be used. For example:
