- Select the the Company Module
- Select the tab Import / Export
- Click on "Import/ update Companies
- Import/Export tab at the top. A prepared Excel Spreadsheet with the relevant data is required in order to import or update a company.
Review Exporting data to MS-Excel to better understand how to prepare an excel file from dRofus that could be used in this process.
Choose file and browse to the excel file using the Choose File icon in the Import/Update menu. The excel file should include either an ID, name, and any other fields in order to update existing companies company data. This is the key to link the excel file data to the exiting data in dRofus. dRofus will read the excel file and ask if the columns can be read to pre-populate the fields, pick yes to match the excel columns with the fields in the user interface. At this step, an import option will need to be determined. Import New, Update existing, or Import new and update existing.
Then, determine which unique key will be used to identify the Parent Company if necessary. A Parent Company is not required to import or update company data.
Once all of the column have been mapped select import.
