dRofus can write data to the uploaded loaded IFC file. This is done by synchronizing data with the model so that the selected data from dRofus are written to/updated in the IFC model. Examples of such data may be Room Data or Room Properties.
What is important to keep in mind if you have Only one IFC file can be used at a time. If multiple IFC files are in a single model is that you cannot export them to a single model. In other words, you cannot merge several IFC files project, each individual file must be exported, and only one must be loaded into dRofus at one time. These individual files cannot be merged into one valid IFC model. Writing data to or from IFC needs to be done for one IFC file at the a time.
