Standard installation
As soon as you install the latest version of dRofus and run it, you will be prompted to install the ArchiCAD notified about the installation of the latest Archicad Add-On, if ArchiCAD is the Archicad Add-On was either not previously installed on the PC. your PC, or is out of date.
The dialog shown below will pop up. The same will happen when newer versions of the Add On and dRofus are released in the future. You will then be prompted to update the Add On.
You can decline installation of the Add-On if you, for example, would like to keep its older version. Notice that if you check "Remember my choice" and press the "No" button, you will never be asked to update the Add-On on this PC. In this case you would have to reinstall the Add-On manually each time a newer version is released, if you wanted to keep it up to date:

If the Archicad Add-On has been uninstalled, then the next time you run an Archicad session, you will get the following message with options:

On the other hand - if you do not already have dRofus running, and you only run Archicad and attempt to Log in to the dRofus Add-On, if the version is out of date, you will get the following message:

Manual installation
The other option is to install or update the Archicad Add-On manually.
In order to install /or update the Archicad Add-On manually, you will have to open the dRofus client and select dRofus->Install ArchiCAD Add-On from the top menu. This menu item will be disabled if the Add-On is already installed and up to date. You and then carry out the following:

Once installed, you can also uninstall the Archicad Add-On by pressing dRofus->Uninstall ArchiCAD Add-On menu item.
Remember, that all ArchiCAD instances should be closed at the time you install/update or uninstall the Add-On.
The Add-On will be available next time you open ArchiCAD, if installation was completed successfully. A new menu called "dRofus" will appear in ArchiCAD (see Figure "Installed dRofus Add-On).
