By clicking on an item Item Occurrences with multiple quantities (1) the occurrences can be split into individual occurrences (2). 
Select Occurrence
Select “Split Occurrence” within the Ribbon menu or in the Right click menu.

Split Occurrence is also available from the right-click menu within the Item list
