You can move occurrences from one room to another. By doing this you will keep all data on the occurrence when you move it. Right click on the occurrence you want to move and select "Move occurrence". If you want to move several occurrences in the same action you can select more occurrences by pressing SHIFT or CTRL.
Note that you cannot move an occurrence that comes from a room template or item template. You can move occurrences to/from unique item lists or additional occurrences in derived item lists.You can move occurrences to another item list of the same room,

The Item can be moved either from the:
Right click menu within the list of Occurrences in the Item module or from the Item list to the Room:
Right click one or more Occurrences which will be moved
Select "Move Occurrence".
Select the Room the Occurrence(s) should be moved to
Select “Ok”
Occurrence can also be moved by selecting a new room in the Occurrence of The Item properties pane:

Select […] beside Room
Select new Room
Select “OK”

Move Occurrences to another Item List of the same Room.
To be able to move an Item form one list to another the only condition is the have the right responsibilities to be able to move an item from one list to the other:

Occurrences can be moved between Items list either by using the right click menu or selecting Icon:
Open Room data by double clicking on the room
Select the Item list where the Occurrence of the Item is to be found.
Right click on the Occurrence or select Icon
Select “Move Occurrence to”
Select Item list
