There are four key steps to start working with your data in dRofus and Revit:

1. Set up for linking and Synchronizing

2. Link Spaces to Rooms 

3. Link Revit Familie Types to Items in dRofus

4. Synchronize Revit Instance with dRofus Occurrence

1. Room and Space configuration determine which Room data are exchanged and included in your Space properties. Read more about setup and Space usage:

   • Create or Update Revit Spaces from Linked Revit Model (new).

2. Family Type and Instance configuration determine which Family Type and Instance data are exchanged with dRofus Item and Occurrence /Component data

3. Revit Systems configuration is used when link System in dRofus with Revit System Name. Revit System Types configuration is used when linking system in dRofus with Revit System Type. Read more Relationship between Revit Systems and dRofus Systems

You have the flexibility to switch between the levels you want to synchronize with. However, to achieve optimal control, we advise you to select and use only one level for synchronization.
