Revit Areas, Rooms and Spaces
During synchronization process, the Add-On Synchronize function may request the following:
1. Request to Reload Latest: to ensure that the information within every instance of the Local model is up to date, so that:
2. Synchronize Latest with dRofus: i.e., operations occur for the latest updates of the same Area(s), Room(s), Spaces(s), Family Type(s) as well as Family Instance(s) which may be simultaneously worked on by multiple Users, and then:
3. Request to Synchronize Local with Central: i.e., upload the latest changes (that have been pushed by dRofus into the Local model) to the Central model.
Example:
User 2 within an instance of a Local model, has made changes to a Room by moving a wall (thereby making the Room bigger) and has then carried out to synchronize with the central model:

Example: User 2 has synchronized with central model before User 1 try to synchronize with dRofus:
User 2 made a Room bigger by moving a wall in the Local model and "Synchronize with Central":

User 1 within another Local model session (who has neither carried out "Synchronize with Central" nor "Reload Latest" following the above changes by User 2), attempts to Synchronize the same Room (that has now been altered within the Central model), will then is attempting to synchronize the same room with dRofus and receive a request via the Add-On to "Reload Latest". (Refer illustration See picture below):

User 1 selects "OK" , and the User 1 Local model first gets updated will:
1. Updated with the latest information, and then changes from the Central model
2. Synchronization with dRofus occurs:

Tick the checkbox “Upload changes to central model” to update the central model aften synchronizing with dRofus, with the latest changes that have occurred within the Local model will then get updated within the Central model:

Example: User 2 has not synchronized with central model before User 1 try to synchronize with dRofus:
User 2 has done some changes in the local model without "Synchronize with Central", when .
When User 1 then attempts to Synchronize the same Room(s) within his / her instance of the Local model, this will User 1 will get the following warning message:

User 1 will need to cancel :
1. Cancel the operation,
2. "Place Request" to User 2 to "Synchronize the element(s) to Central" and "Relinquish", carry out
3. "Synchronize with Central" or "Reload Latest", and then perform the Function <-> Area, Room <-> Room, Room Template <-> Room, Room <-> Space or Room Template <-> Space Synchronization process
3. Continue Synchronization process with dRofus .
